Yes. The script was written.
A parasitic is the result of the processes that produce vanishing twins and conjoined twins, and may represent a continuum between the two. Parasitic twins occur when a twin embryo begins developing in utero, but the pair do not fully separate, and one embryo maintains dominant development at the expense of the other.
Unlike conjoined twins, one ceases development during gestation and is vestigial to a mostly fully-formed, otherwise healthy individual twin. The undeveloped twin is defined as parasitic, rather than conjoined, because it is incompletely formed or wholly dependent on the body functions of the complete foetus.
The independent twin is called the autosite.
In the movie, The Autosite is the name of Brian’s rock band, as well as the unclear emotional conjunction with his alter-ego visualized as his brother.
The script tells the story of an ordinary 35 year old man – Brian, with a wife and a kid, and a passion for music. Brian is a sensitive man, who finds it hard to deal with his past, which is partly unknown and partly unclear. His constant quest to get to know himself better has turned into a phobia, from which he can only escape through his imagination. It is there that he finds his alter-ego twin brother, and from there that new doubts and questions start to rise in his mind. The further he tries to find answers, the more confused he gets between what is real and what is imaginary. As he starts to mix up both worlds, his whole family begins to feel the effects of his behaviour…
The story is a trip inside human’s psyche. Similarly to David Lynch’s “Lost Highway”, “The Autosite” is some kind of emotional experiment, which effect should be to open hidden areas in the viewer’s mind, and to reflect upon their own fears or unclear situations.
